PT Jembayan Muarabara is a 100% subsidiary of straits Asia resources (SAR) and is home to all technical and support services for our mine operations. Straits Asia resources is a Singapore integrated company on the SGX with a market capitalization of around SGD $ 2.0 billion. SAR is primarily engaged in the development and operation of two 100% owned coal mines in Kalimantan Indonesia. The Sebuku mine located on the Sebuku Island, South Kalimantan, and began in 1997. The Sebuku mine currently JORC has 928 million tons compliant coal and thermal coal produced 1.98 million tonnes in the year 2009. In October 2007 SAR Jembayan coal bought mine in East Kalimantan which currently produced 6.2 million tonnes of thermal coal in 2009 and has JORC compliant resources of 504 million tons. SAR has extensive exploration study to grow your resource and base book completed and entry to an ambitious growth programme is now of ramping up production in the next few years.

SECURITY SUPERVISOR EDUCATION & SYSTEM, SAFETY OFFICER, JUNIOR SECURITY OFFICER

We are looking for candidates to fill the following vacancies in Security Department as supervisor training & system safety officer & junior security security officer

General responsibility:

1. Carried out inspection as schedule;
2. Carried out monitoring of incident investigation recommendation report;
3. Carried out communication between SAR (security sector representatives) and contractors;
4. Availability of daily broadcasts.
5. Develops, implements and manages security policies and programme;
6. Monitoring and evaluation of dangerous and insecure situation and development of measure to staff assure security;
7. Coordinate and lead work area assessment, surveys, and program evaluation to determine the presence of dangerous State.
8. Responsible for monitoring the implementation of the safety function, including OHS management system, as well as other report;
9. Provide HS & E management information, to provide advice and support for all employees healthy and accident safe, free work environments and the compliance with the company HS & E - policies and procedures.

General request:

1. Minimum degree (D3) in Heath status, security and environmental qualification;
2. Minimum five(5) years experience in progressively responsible as security officer;.
3. Good understanding of OHS legislation for mining;
4. AK3 (Ahli K3) are preferable;
5. Hero POP (Pengawas Operasional Pertama) certificate;
6. Good communication ability, both in English and Bahasa.
7. In the able to work under pressure;
8. Applicant must arbeitswillig in Samarinda
