General corporate strategy
PGN has the realization of his vision by phased transformation, projected that starts by the strengthening of the existing concepts and internal capacities, followed by an expansion of the functions in new business areas. This new business has been selected to best to achieve the strategic objectives of the natural gas supplies, strengthening the existing business, increase profits, optimize the existing capabilities and diversify their activities outside of the existing business.
The next phase is a sustainable but aggressive improvement and expansion of the business, with the aim of a world-class company. PGN running in 2009, in line with the long-term strategy some basic strategies, including strengthening the operating performance and financial position of the company, create a more world class corporate, restructuring the Organization to be more customer-oriented and promote intensive the advantages of natural gas.
Business development
PGN has its long-term strategic plan 2010-2020 and corporate business plan 2010-2014 future growth of the company to realize its vision and mission lead formulated. Under this framework are LNG terminals and the development and use of CBM and CNG for the development.
LNG Terminal (LNG RT) received
PGN will LNG RTs build in Medan and West Java with LNG floating storage and regasification terminal technology.
Coal bed methane (CBM)
PGN has in cooperation with experienced operators of CBM and local governments, and has a proposal to the USTDA for a grant used to CBM development studies in South Sumatra and central Sumatra commit would be presented.
Not pipeline transport (domestic LNG and CNG)
To support the program blue sky and the diversification of business developed PGN land-based gas transport, namely within the territory of LNG and CNG. They used gas to markets or industrial zones, to distribute the the natural gas pipeline network in particular out of reach.
