Senior reservoir engineer
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Reporting for the Exploration Manager that successful applicants will build models for reservoir be responsible.
• Implementation of simulations to assess the possible development scenarios and associated reserve profiles.
• Ensuring the reliability of the data and calculations, define and optimize the requirement date for reservoir engineering studies.
Qualification:
• Minimum degree, major in petroleum engineering (or all related discipline)
• Age between 35-50 years old
• Experience at least 8 years of the well-rounded oil & gas industry.
• Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams added value for the assets through investment and application of solid reservoir management skills is required.
• Have experience with the application of traditional and non-traditional reservoir engineering techniques, including decline curve analysis, volumetric analysis, good test analysis, material balance reports, transient analysis, economic and risk analysis and other aspects of reservoir engineering.
• Software knowledge: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, access), ARIES is preferred and public information systems experience (PI / power tools / drilling info) Eclipse (or related reservoir modeling software) using SYSTEM (or in connection with pressure transient analysis software).
• Point of hire in Jakarta.
• Fluency in English.
Skills:
The ideal candidate:
• Demonstrated ability to use petroleum engineering principles to solve problems, and extension to identify business opportunities.
• Strong background in the reservoir engineering and management practice patterns.
Good overall practical field of operations know •.
• Experience in the use of geoscientists, and production and facilities engineers, and in the preparation of AFEs.
• Know-how in dealing with often used reservoir engineering.
• Strong interpersonal skills to work in multidisciplinary and multicultural project teams.
• Well developed report writing and presentation preparation and delivery capabilities.
Candidates with no formal qualifications, but with proven experience in the related technical training be taken into account performance.
