Petrophysicist
Position summary:
Take part in determining the logging requests and directs the logging operations in the assigned field. Quality of the logs checks, analyzes and evaluates also log and core to establish data to the presence of oil and gas, and helps in the calculation of hydrocarbons in the reservoir. Petrographic database maintained. Petrographic studies thus reservoir leads to formulate models necessary for the full field development plans, and helps in monitoring the production performance throughout the life of the field.
Prerequisite:
-At least a BSc in petroleum engineering, mechanical engineering or geology is required.
-5 Years experience in the petrographic do.
Technical competences:
› Must log in a thorough understanding of the open hole (wire line and LWD), housing hole and production of logging tools, NMR and integrated production soft and horizontal wells.
› Strong background with probabilistic ELAN software on UNIX and IP PC based software for preliminary analysis and generation of summary tables.
› Experience in carbonate reservoirs.
Competences structural:
› Must have strong teamwork skills. To communicate effectively with peers, less experienced employees, service employees and management.
› Know health, safety and environmental policy, procedures and objectives relating to its area of responsibility, and shall ensure that they are effectively implemented in its domain.
› About experience in integrated asset team environment.
